I study the early universe using measurements of the cosmic microwave background (CMB). I am currently a PhD candidate at the University of California, Davis, where I am advised by Prof. Lloyd Knox.
My research involves developing flexible models that enable data-driven explorations of cosmological data. I'm interested in the recombination epoch, cosmological constraints on the neutrino mass, and solving the Hubble tension. I am also a member of the SPT-3G collaboration, where I help analyze CMB data from the South Pole Telescope.
Before moving to California, I spent two formative years as a student researcher in the CPAC group at Argonne National Laboratory, where I worked on simulations of fuzzy dark matter. From 2014-2018, I studied physics and mathematics at the University of Chicago. I was born and raised near Chicago, Illinois.
